A workshop on new local electric power businesses held in Kimotsuki town, Kagoshima prefecture
A workshop on new local electric power businesses was held in Kimotsuki town, Kagoshima prefecture from 13:30 on June 30th 2016.
The town released an announcement in March this year that it would have an alliance for use and sharing of renewable energy with Miyama city, Fukuoka prefecture.
The workshop focuses on the establishment of new electric power businesses targeting the revitalization of the local community with local production and local consumption of the energy.
Mr. Kazuyuki Nagano, Mayor of Kimotsuki town made opening remarks, followed by Dr. Harada, professor of Kyushu University, Mr. Korehisa, PL of COI, Kyushu University and Mr.Isobe, president of Miyama smart energy.
A staff of the Kimotsuki town said that the presentations were understandable and helpful.
The presentations were as follows
1. An alliance of local governments through natural enegy
