The “Enevo x Urban OS” IoT Idea-thon

Overview

On Monday, September 28th, 2015 at 1:00pm in the seminar room on the third floor of Research Facilities for Co-Evolutional Social Systems in the university, the COI Platform Unit held an IoT ideathon “Enevo x Urban OS.” First, Platform Unit Leader Prof. Kazuaki Murakami explained the ideation system. Next, three instructors gave seminars on ideathon tips. Then all attendees took part in the ideathon on the two themes below.

Theme 1: Which innovative service moves consumers to use Enevo's capacity sensor?
Theme 2: When do residents feel the need for “urban OS” in their towns?

The 27 participants came up with more than 160 ideas on these two themes, and 7 were selected for an active discussion. We will continue to hold ideathons on various themes toward the goal of practical implementation of research results of the university.
