Fukuoka City and Kyushu University, which are conducting a study on an urban development for the site of the Hakozaki campus, will start the project "Fukuoka Smart East" using the initiative of the "Top 10 urban innovations" of the World Economic Forum as a reference.

The "FUKUOKA NEXT Urban Innovation Forum" will be held on November 11th(Fri) as a kickoff event for the purpose of creating a comfortable life style and a virtuous cycle of an urban innovation at Hakozaki, which is co-sponsored by Kyushu University.

A wide variety of panelists are invited to deepen the discussion including Dr.Mori from Harvard Univesity, who is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on the future of cities.
Also the result of the workshop will be shared which was held in September by the students of Harvard University and Kyushu University.
