Transportation systems to support sustainable and vibrant future cities
-Transportation × Energy × Information-

Yokohama National University (YNU) has joined the center for Co-Evolutional Social SYSTEMS(CESS) which is based on the Center of Innovation Program (COI) of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and has been conducting R&D of Urban OS (Operating System) to realize a sustainable and vibrant future society focusing on transportation, energy  and civic services.
YNU has made a proposal and conducting a validation on a "Smart and Multi Modal Mobility System" to support a futue society as an application of the Urban OS.
To realize such a transportation system a mechanism is essential where a transportation system can work closely with energy and information (data) which have close relationship with movement of human beings and things.
In the symposium initiatives of YNU for transportation,the University of Tokyo for energy and Kyushu University for information system will be introduced and discussion  on the transportation, energy and information systems in the future urban space will be conducted.
