The 16th annual meeting of Japanese Society for Science and Technology Studies(FY2017) was held on Nov 25(Sat) and 26(Sun) at the Maidashi campus of Kyushu University.
The society consists of wide variety of researchers who study the problems from various points of view which arise at the border between science/technology and society.

Mr. Toshiya Kobayashi, associate professor and Mr. Yoshikatsu Nishigama, research fellow of Science and Technology Innovation Policy Unit played a role of organizer.

In addition a study result was presented by the Science and Technology Innovation Policy Unit.
Mr. Nishigama presented study results " Deployment of Science Cafe, Co-evolutional Social Systems of Kyushu University", including effects and issues obtained by the study of the deployment of the two science communications held so far.

The Science and Technology Innovation Policy Unit will strengthen collaborations with other groups/units to feedback the social implementation related issues to the research and development.
