Kyushu University COI held a symposium on Feb 1(Fri) at the Research Facility for Coevolutional Social Systems.
The theme was " Creation of sustainable communities by locally generated and consumed energy and vibrant local economy".
We sincerely thank all the visitors and related people of the event.

We introduced the progress of the research themes and social implementations in the symposium.
Also we invited Dr. Jill Engel-Cox ,Director, Joint Institute for Strategic Energy Analysis, U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory Golden, Colorado, USA, who made a presentation “Clean Energy Technologies for Economic Development at Global- and Community-Scales“, followed by fruitful discussion on the initiatives in the US and differences from Japan.
