On December 22 (Tue), 2015, Dr. Siew Mun Leong from Malaysia, Director at ITS-AP visited the “Co-Evolutional Social Systems Innovation Facility.”

This was part the invite he received from Fukuoka for an observation visit, and 10 people accompanied him including personnel from the Fukuoka City MICE Promotion Section.

After the explanation on Kyushu University COI initiatives were given in the seminar room on the 3F of the facility, he visited the research rooms in the facility and gained a better understanding by actually seeing the site.He seemed to be very interested, especially in the advanced research toward “visualization of energy” within the facility, organic EL, big sensor box, and the computers in the Mathematics for Industry Unit.

In order to continue communicating COI initiatives to the world, we will endeavor to progress in research development.
