[Activity Report] Hackathon for the traffic safety assistance organized by CESS

The hackathon for the traffic safety assistance was held on Dec 2(Sat) and 3(Sun), 2017 at Panasonic Laboratory Fukuoka, lead by Ms. Sachiko Ohno, assistant professor of Institute of Innovation for Future Society, Nagoya University and Dr. shigeru Takano, associate professor of Center for Co-evolutional Social Systems, Kyushu University and Mr. Yoshikatsu Nishigama, research fellow of Center for Co-evolutional Social Systems, Kyushu University.
It was co-sponsored by Institute of Systems, Information Technologies and Nanotechnologies (ISIT) and Big data Open data Initiative Kyushu(BODIK).

The theme was "Embodiment of the wakiminzu(literally means " a map showing dangerous places e.g. drivers tends to look aside while driving ") which was created through the last ideathon held in August 2017 and a prototype with a car sensor camera was developed by members from software development group and value creation group.

The place of the hackathon Panasonic Laboratory Fukuoka is a place for co-creation which was built by Panasonic Corporation in October 2017.

As a next step we will complete the prototype and apply the result for the Urban Data Challenge 2017(http://urbandata-challenge.jp/).
