Field tests has started at Kawabata Shopping Arcade

Field tests for the Fukoka City full-support testing projects has started at Kawabata Shopping Arcade. Building an environment for pedestrian analysis to create liveliness of shopping arcade.

In the field test "Creating liveliness of town utilizing ICT" pedestrian data with an attribute at the shopping arcade along with meteorological and event data are analyzed to measure impact on the sale amount.
Also effectiveness will be verified so that it will contribute to the recovery of the local economy after the pandemic of COVID-19. 
The field test has been adopted as Fukoka City full-support testing projects.

The ICT group will work on the field test with a participating institution in order to implement the liveliness analysis BI tool utilizing pedestrian data with an attribute at a shopping arcade.
As the service is used in public spaces we will conduct application and platform developments along with verification of social acceptance taking security and privacy into consideration working with various city services.
