Event details for Yokohama National University Research Center for Sustainable Mobility System Symposium 2020 “Proposals and Practices for Sustainable Mobility Systems: Beyond the Mobility Crisis Caused by a Pandemic”

The Yokohama National University “Research Center for Sustainable Mobility System (abbreviation: Sasmosis)” works on research projects to realize a sustainable transportation system that simultaneously achieves environmental friendliness, efficiency, and social inclusion, many of which are supported by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) Center of Innovation (COI) program.

We are pleased to announce the “Yokohama National University Research Center for Sustainable Mobility Systems Symposium 2020” as a venue to report the results of our various research and development activities this year.

This symposium is an extended version of the monthly “Sasmosis Seminar” and will include reports on the results of research and development as well as panel discussions with people who have been instrumental in each project.

In particular, in light of the major impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our daily lives, we will explore how sustainable transport systems can support urban activities in new lifestyles, with an introduction to practical research closely related to infectious disease control. We look forward to your participation.
