On March 17, 2016 (Thurs), Standford University Professor Schiebinger and three other professors who were guests at the"Science Technology Innovation Focusing on Promoting Diversity and Gender Differences" Symposium(March 18th (Fri) at Centennial Hall Kyushu University School of Medicine) hosted by the Office for the Promotion of Gender Equality, Kyushu University visited Ito Campus, and toured the "Co-Evolutional Social Systems Innovation Facility."

In the 3rd floor seminar room, Center Manager Korehisa gave an overview of efforts by Kyushu University COI. Then Academic Researcher Koga guided the guests in the tour of research rooms in the facility.

As she gave opinions from a female’s point of view, she also commented that she feels a sense of future in the word "co-evolutional", which encouraged us to keep working towards COI implementation in our society in the future.
