On February 5, 2016 (Fri), 15 members from General Incorporated Association Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) Industry & Public Systems Group, Industry & Systems Dept. (*) visited the “Co-evolutionary Social Systems Innovation Facility.”
In the 3rd floor seminar room, Project Leader Korehisa gave an overview of Kyushu University COI initiatives, followed by a Q&A session regarding the role and effectiveness of "Urban OS." Then they visited our state-of-the-art facilities, including the OLED laboratory, clean room, Big Sensor Box, server room, and industrial fuel cells.
We will continue to use these opportunities to encourage understanding of Kyushu University COI and Urban OS to make social implementation a reality.
* The Association is an industry group of about 400 companies and organizations with an objective to comprehensively develop the electronic IT industry and its economic growth, etc.
It has established a special committee for ITS technology standardization which takes part in research in new fields of ITS, policy proposals, global standardization, etc.
