[News] About the event: Kyushu University Center for Co-Evolutional Social Systems Symposium ~How to create an Urban OS! ~
News
The “Kyushu University Center for Co-evolutional Social Systems” is currently in development and social implementation of an “Urban OS (Operating System)” as a common platform for the creation of a sustainable “co-evolutional social system (symbiosis/evolution of diversity),” to cope with environmental change, globalization, and population issues.
In this symposium, we will report research findings on various application technologies such as the sensor pole “P-Sen (Petit Sensor Box),” a joint development with the Industry-Government-Academia at our base, as a fundamental element of the urban OS, and “B-Sen (Big Sensor Box),” a room covered with sensors, a system used for collecting various data “BODIC.org,” and research on various application technologies. We are also planning a preview of B-Sen installed at the “Kyushu University Co-Evolutional Society Innovations Facility,” which was completed in March of this year, as well as a hands-on (sensing) tour of P-Sen, which began operating in November of last year. We look forward to seeing you there.
